Jill White, Ed.D.
Dr. Jill White, Ed.D.Jill T. White graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1993 with a doctorate in Technological and Adult Education. Her educational background includes 21 years of teaching experience in secondary, community college, and university education settings. In 2003 Dr. White served as the College of Professional Studies NCATE Coordinator. She is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Engineering and Computer Technology at the University of West Florida where she directs and delivers the Career and Technical Education undergraduate and graduate curriculum online. Her research interests include information literacy, teachers’ concerns, and advances in Career and Technical Education. Dr. White currently serves as the liaison between the University of West Florida and Workforce Development in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. Her work with the Next Generation Learning Community (NGLC) has included coordinating workshops with FordPAS to afford teachers an opportunity to participate in curriculum redesign to meet educational reform.
